The Simple Spaghetti Recipe

Simple Spaghetti Dinner

1 lb. of regular spaghetti noodles
2 lbs. of lean ground beef
1 small can tomato paste
1 can Hunts Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
1 can Hunts Four Cheese Flavored Spaghetti Sauce
1/2 green pepper (chopped)
1/3 sweet yellow onion (chopped)
2 tbs. butter

Bring large pot of water to a rolling boil and add noodles, boing for 10 minutes or until desired tenderness is reached.

While noodles are boiling, brown the ground beef and drain.

Add the chopped peppers and onions to beef, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add tomato paste, sauces and 1 tbs. butter to mixture and cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes.

Drain noodles and mix in 1 tbs. butter.

Pour sauce over the noodles after they have been plated. Top with shredded chedder or parmesan cheese.

Small garden salad
Garlic bread

Great Breakfast....QUICK!

This breakfast recipe is not only quick, but a HEALTHY CHOICE as well! Start the day full and fueled with:

Awesome Two Egg Omelets

1 cup Egg Beaters Original
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
1/4 cup chopped yellow pepper
1/4 cup fine chopped onion
1 cup of shredded fat free or regular shredded chedder or mozerella cheese (seperated into 1/2 cup parts)
1 large can of chunk white chicken (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbs. butter or margerine

Prep (5 minutes)

chop the peppers and onions, mixing together in small bowl
drain chicken
pre-heat skillet or omelet maker to 350

Cook Time (5 minutes per omelet)

1. Start by melting 1/2 tbs. of butter or margerine in pan or skillet

2. Pour 1/2 cup Egg Beaters Original into pan or skillet

3. Wait for about 45 seconds and sprinkle in the onion and pepper mixture, leaving about an inch away from the edges of the omelet clear.

4. When egg appears to be nearly cooked through, add the chicken and shredded cheese evenly over the pepper and onion mixture.

5. Immediatley fold over in half using a spatula.

6. Cook for 45 seconds on each side or until cheese is melted.

makes 4 servings

Recommended sides:

Slice of lightly toasted wheat bread
Slice of fresh tomato
1/2 cup Fresh, sliced strawberries

Substitutions:

Instead of chicken, try ground beef, sausage or chopped ham!
